Positive experiences with Personal Digital Access
In short, it’s the perfect time to zoom out again:
what are the experiences with Personal Digital Access,
and what does Siip consider important when it comes to implementation and application, for fans and clubs?
Results of process evaluation
Independent research agency DSP-groep carried out a process evaluation of the pilot Personal Digital Access on behalf of the KNVB and SportInnovator. As part of this, they spoke with staff and supporters of professional football clubs (BVOs) that collaborate with Siip — including PSV Eindhoven,
ADO Den Haag, FC Eindhoven, FC Groningen,
NAC Breda, PEC Zwolle en RKC Waalwijk.
DSP-groep published a concise report with valuable findings and recommendations:
‘The cooperation with Siip was viewed positively by the football clubs.’
Naturally, at Siip we are very proud of that. Being a true partner in collaboration is something we value deeply. This is reflected in our regular exchanges, and DSP-groep underlined this in their research:
“Siip supported the clubs well in solving problems, attended supporter evenings to explain PDT, and visited stadiums on matchdays to observe how access with PDT was running.”

Weekly growth in use across stadiums
Among the clubs partnering with Siip, we are once again seeing a significant rise in the use of digital access this season. Each week, more and more supporters make use of this opportunity.
“This is not only due to strong coordination between technology, service and organisation, and clear information, but also thanks to the time we invest in careful implementation and thorough end-to-end testing.
What works well? What can be improved? By asking these questions, together we find the best solutions for supporters and clubs.”
— Remco Voorhorst, founder & CEO of Siip Group
Earlier we already shared more detail on how Siip facilitates these implementations.
This is where our years of knowledge and experience in the field truly make the difference. As also highlighted in this recommendation from the research report:
“We also advise new clubs to get in touch with the pilot clubs and maintain close contact with Siip. By leveraging existing knowledge and experience, new clubs can ensure an effective and efficient implementation of PDT.”
