Digital ID Wallet

At the end of february, the European Parliament approved the introduction of the European ID Wallet. The Council of Ministers still has to ratify the proposal, but that appears to be a formality.

An important decision. In a digital age, we believe it is necessary to have a fully acceped legal digital ID option.

Great opportunities

Siip has an ID wallet since 2019. We securely link your ID details to your rights. For example, the right to access to a festival or a football match.

The arrival of official wallets therefore offers great opportunities. From our experience we see that a wallet only makes sense if it fits what you can do with it. The wallet is the tool, but not the goal.

Safe storage and transferring tickets

At soccer, for example, safely transferring tickets from seasoncards is an important functionality. Fun fact: During holiday periods a lot of tickets are passed. How helpful, even when you’re at your holiday location, you can still pass your tickets to family or friends. Without fear of privacy issues. This is not a possibility with a physical card.

We are very proud to provide this solution through an app and how fans use and appreciate this functionality.
